This year’s total to date is 80, which is already way more than for any previous year.
One conclusion, borne out by my record, is that my consumption has increased greatly since getting an e-reader. I LOVE my kindle!
This year I was travelling for three months. My Kindle and I went to 20 countries - that’s all I needed, just one slim volume that holds hundreds of books.
It’s now so easy to read in any circumstances – even, at times, when he’s asleep and I’m not. I have a little torch that clips onto the reader, switch the font size to the next one up, and read till I drop off again.
If that sounds like a rave, yes, I guess it is.
I’m a great supporter of e-books as opposed to tree-books – they’re more portable and convenient, cheaper, and better for the environment.
My recent books are available as e-books, at much less than the cost of tree-books. But if you're a fan of paper, they're available in conventional volumes too.
However you read, enjoy!
