An update from the last entry…
I see I’ve now read 88 books this year. The last one was Eleanor Catton’s The Luminaries, which might explain why my pace has slowed a bit. It’s very good, but very loong! A while back I was thinking I might get to 100, but it’s unlikely now, and that's okay. It's not primarily a matter of numbers, but enjoyment. And that grand total would make it harder to beat next year. Come back in a few days time for the final count. |
