The Playwrights Association of New Zealand held its AGM yesterday. At the event the results of the 2014 playwriting competition were held.
1st place – Colin Beardon (centre of photo) for his play Red Devil 1917
2nd place – Bronwyn Elsmore (right) for her play Cliché
3rd place – Rex McGregor (left) for his play Margaret Thatcher Hits New Zealand
The three plays, all one-act comedies, are available to theatres as a package with the title Fun Expected.
